Fountaindale Grand Manor is located in Robertson in the Southern Highlands which is located just 1 hour 20 mins from the heart of Sydney City, 30 minutes from Wollongong, 20 mins from Bowral and 1.5 hours from Canberra.
Sitting at the top of the Macquarie Pass, Robertson is a link between the Southern Highlands and the Coast.
The escarpment views, the landscape and scenic drives make it popular with visitors who use it as a holiday destination or a stopover during their extended tours.
In recent times Roberston has become very well known as the area where the film "BABE" was made.
The rich red soil of the area has made it the largest potato growing area in New South Wales.

Located on the Illawarra Hwy in Robertson, at the top of the Wollongong Escarpment.
Things To Do
A quiet village at the top of Macquarie Pass and situated in the largest potato-growing area in NSW, particularly red soil potatoes. Home of the Big Potato and also famous for being the setting for the movie "Babe".
In Robertson village you'll find interesting bric-a-brac shops and Antique stores. Nearby you'll find unique attractions and the surrounding countryside is ideal for bushwalking. The best time to visit is in Autumn and Spring where visitors can witness the colours of the falling leaves and the new flowering of all the European trees that are planted in the area.
